Well, number 1 wasn't very complete. I put the truck in Neutral when I do this.

Also, invariably, you will have to stop and correct the steering angle or you will get really frustrated trying to keep it spooling the way you want.

I like the cross-hatched idea and it would be good practice to use that method every time. I've had mine bind down into the lower layers by slipping between.
