Re: Rocker Panel Rock Rails
Got the Rocky Road rails in today and mounted(sorry no pics yet). I like them alot they are well built, strong(heavy), look great. I like the extra 3inches out the side of the truck. will take pics soon. Shipping weight was 110lbs.

Re: Rocker Panel Rock Rails
I just got the Rocky-Road rails installed on my H2 today. I like them. Of course, you can't retain the factory U-steps...so we'll see how the family holds up without the lower step to get into the rig. So far, the 5 year old and 2 year old can get in without problems....

Re: Rocker Panel Rock Rails
For the H3s w/rocky road rails:
Would you say the extra 3" provides adequate ding (parking lot) protection, allowing these to be a suitable replacement for the side assist steps? That's the only reason I keep my side steps on, and I need rock rails...so that would work out. Hard to tell from the pictures if it sticks out further than the door or not.

Dei,
Babhumv's stuck out far enough you could get your foot on them to get into the rig. But they don't stick way out.

Yep, they stick out a couple inches from the door. And they're angled up just a little bit.

Re: Rocker Panel Rock Rails
Just enough room to use as a step.
