Re: Running lights
HAVE THE DEALER INSTALL THEM!!! Ours had the same noise problems and was fixed by the dealer, took them ALL day to get it done, but no problems now.

Re: Running lights
My dealer has never put a set on an H3. I can install it, however, I do not have any information on what color wire I can tap into for power. I figure it can be done by one of the tail lights.

Your dealer might not have done this install before but neither have you. I am sure you are more than capable of doing the install but I would still let them do it. If you do it and there are any leaking or wind noise issues they are on you, not a warranty issue. Even worse, if I recall correctly, a number of dealers were cracking windshields early on before they learned how best to do it.

Re: Running lights
If these running lights wheren't notrious for having SEVERE wind noise issues, I would say go for it. But almost everyone here that bought an H3 with them already installed had problems and some still have problems with them. Paying for a fix job on them if you don't get them perfect will be more expensive than just having them do it the first time. And if they screw up it's not coming out of your pocket. I'm sure the dealership will get better install instructions on them too. I would hope that what they get from GM has all the tips for fixing any noise problems before they start.
