Remove the cover---remove the filter---Vacuum the $hit out of the Box! ....

Knowing better than Anyone else.... the driving conditions you've been through, box contents, visual Dirtiness of the filter, and plain ole' common sense...It Should be a light bulb Moment!

In other words.....Change the fkn thing 2 or 3 times a year, and you should be fine!....More in Extreme Extended Conditions!
