When we went we had Scott Emmons with us. He is one of the Rubicon Trail Patrol members. Uber cool guy.
He kept us on the trail and in compliance at all times.
I did a ton of research about the 'Con and it's recent history. I met Randii and Ken few weeks ago at a RNR barbeque.
I have a great deal of respect for what these men and many others like them have done to keep the 'Con open.
We would never do anything to jeopardize that.
Just sayin'

I was never in any way implying you were doing anything wrong. I just know I would never swim in that lake after hearing AND seeing the problem. HEHE.

Why not? We had to hike up through Little Sluice, almost killed myself, but the water was warm and clear.....a great time!!! So worth it.
