Wow, I never thought about that. I'm sure there are some companies out there that can do it.

I would guess that it would be cost prohibitive (Read Expensive!) labor wise.
It would take along time to polish all of the little nooks and crannies and if you did, keeping it clean and preventing rust would be a full time job.
There are other alternatives to chrome plating.
How about powder coating? Some of the brighter silver colors could be applied.

Check local plating companies. If not check a motorcycle shop. They would have a contact for you. Your only limitations will be the size. Big is not better - some times.

Then again the suggestion of powder coating sounds good.
