Re: GM P/N for the front jounce bumpers
partsguy and f5fstop, thank you for your reply.
In JAPAN there are two ways to get H3. One is to purchase from authorized GM dealers, and the other is to directly import H3 from U.S by way of a shop called "Simultaneous Import Car Dealer". Mine is the latter one, and the warranty is only 1 year (If I pay more, I can extend the warranty.). Therefore, I'm trying to get parts by myself in order to lower the expense.

Re: GM P/N for the front jounce bumpers
None of the big three has their own dealer in JAPAN. It's quite complicated. Speaking of HUMMER H2 & H3, MITSUI trade company has a lisence to sell them in JAPAN as GM authorized dealer. If I buy from them, I can get 4 years warranty for free. But, their dealers are not located nationwide, and the nearest dealer for me is 3 hours away. And that, the price is high. Therefore, I didn't buy from them.
As for Chevrolet, a dealer called "YANASE" sells them as an authorized dealer and they are located nationwide.
Anyway, American cars are not popular in JAPAN because ;
1. Fuel economy is bad in comparison with Japanese cars.
(The price of gasoline in JAPAN is 3 times higher than U.S.)
2. Too big for narrow roads in JAPAN
3. We can buy Japanese cars with more cheaper price
4. Most of Japanese people think that American cars are not reliable.
