Reminds me of a local H1 owner I know. He is in the military, stationed at the base here. He owns a mid-90s H1 and he has it done up nicely, and got a nice "garrison green" paintjob, getting some of his buddies to paint it up in camo. The guy refuses to take it off the pavement. So paranoid. It just left me shaking my head.Quote:

There's a guy nearby that bought a Commander that I've met, and it's loaded. But he has declined numerous invititations to Paragon, and is afraid of even the smallest bit of mud. And for over $50,000, he wished he had gotten an H2. I couldn't agree more!

My wife insisted on a new Jeep when it was time to trade in her Cherokee, she loves the Commander...seats for all the kids, she won't drive a minivan. A little too foo-foo for me, but it is damn comfy, keeps her out of the ditch in bad weather....and I LOVE the Hemi. Got it built with skid plates, but I don't know that it'll ever go off-roading. It tows the trailer full of dirtbikes & quads real smooth.

Chris - How's the gas mileage with the Hemi Jeep Commander? Have you checked it?
