Uhhh ...aren't the MetroZoo and Miami Lakes a distance from one another?  We're talking Homestead (kind of) to Hialeah (kind of).

You know .. I used to drive up the Palmetto Expressway thinking it was the worst traffic ever .. until I moved to L.A. You guys have it easy!

Yeah, I go sometimes around there...it's near Miccossukee casino. Tons of mud. If you all wanna go there, we could meet up somewhere and go. Some places....I have not gone into cuz they look very bad, but we can all find new paths together!!!!

I'm up to it as long as you youngens will put up with an OLD MAN.
I just need to preplan this cause there is only 8 days in a week and 29 hours in a day.
Seriously for me to do on the moment is almost impossible but if someone in Dade/Broward/Monroe wants to organize and plan ahead of time I will try and be there...

If you can't find a place to off-road, you can always do a road rally. Get a bunch of Hummers together and caravan! Then stop somewheres good for lunch, lining up all the Hummers. Our dealer does that here every so often .. one road rally for every three off-road events. We wind through the mountains here .. H1's, 2's and 3's. We passed a Mini-Cooper caravan last time up in the Santa Monica Mountains .. it was funny seeing those ants followingone another .. even though they gave up the one finger salute as we passed.  Anyways, just get together and compare notes about your Hummers! Don't take forever deciding 'when and where'.

Nothing around MetroZoo that I'm aware of.
Someone was telling me of Mud Flats out the Tamiami Trail near the Indian Casino (Krome Ave)
