Like the H1, H2s aren't officially classified.
The only Hummer to make it is the H3. I think it's in the Mid-size or Full-size category.

There ALL Morons!...EVERYTHING is an SUV Nowdays...Minivans, Station wagons, Pickup's with canopys--Anything with 4X or Allwheel drive carries the label!
