I own an H3 and my buddy owns an FJ. So we have made the comparison and here are my findings.
FJ gonna cost you 30k and looks like a 20k vehicle
H3 gonna cost you 30k and looks like a 50k vehicle
Girls love the look of the FJ
Women love the look of the H3
Fj will look cool on the beach but take it for a high end night on the town and it looks silly and out of Place especially if you are getting out of it in a suit or cocktail dress.
H3 will look cool on the beach and just as cool for a night on the town
Fj has a nice stereo system
H3 has a kick-ass system (no comparison)
Both are good off roaders.
Fj definitely more powerful engine with a good ride
H3 has sufficient engine power with a superb refined ride.
Finally, the one oberservation that says it all
H3 interior leather and brushed aluminum
Fj interior Tonka toy plastic.
