Re: Dog Pees in crate!!!
CP,
Are you using one of those pet odor neutralizer products. They eliminate the smell of urine from rugs and whatever else. If the smell is not neutralized the dog will continue to piss on it in effort to mark their territory. Covering the odor up will not solve your problem.

You know, if the other 4 families couldn't figure it out, chances are, you guys won't either.
Slap a free sign on him and park him at the curb. Hell, might as well do a 2 fer one.

Re: Dog Pees in crate!!!
DAMN! That would pi$$ me off!
Bladder problem? or
Some dogs know they have to go in their crate when mom and dad are going bye bye. Many puppeeees (get it ) will piss in the crate or chew things as a form of seperation anxiety. Ig your dog just started doing this and is just strating to get around 1 or so, this may be just the start.
There is a ton of info out there. Here's a link to check out.

Re: Dog Pees in crate!!!
I do use pet odor neutralizer, it has alcohol and some enzymes in it. But I haven't used it on his bed- which is a good idea because I always just wash it. But- the blanket he pissed on was not a dog blanket and just temporary while his bed was in the wash.
He is over a year and a half old.
We got him from the SPCA a few months ago and now I understood why the woman at the SPCA said "Your taking him home- Good luck!" Then explained that a girl took him home for awhile and he wasn't housebroken at all. I thought she was just an uncaring bitch.
I keep lmao at Dennis' posts- Stewart has been through 4 homes already.
I will look into the anxiety of dogs, I guess. Damn!

Re: Dog Pees in crate!!!
If that dog kept peeing on everything, I think I'd probably wrap that wet blanket around his head, then apply several rounds of duct tape. There, see how you ya like that, Stewie.

Re: Dog Pees in crate!!!
Is someone else peeing on his blanket? If so, the pup is just claiming the territory

Re: Dog Pees in crate!!!
I dunno, the only reason why we crate his is because he is a pisser. Just so he can learn to hold it. I am home all day.
He pisses everywhere, I am always cleaning up piss..... and sh1t, he's a sh1tter too.
I mean, if that bish pees in his crate on new blankets?, Now I have to scan everything- not just the floors. There could be an abundance of piss somewhere.
I love him- but dayum!
Is it cruel to put a hair thing on his lil penis?
