Funny that I ran accross this post. My H3 is currently in the shop as I type this. Been there 2 days now. They had to order parts (driver and passenger mounts), and I'll hopefully have it back tomorrow. I noticed the noise last week and took it in right after Christmas.

What Bebe had was the Front Axle mount(s) (circled), which is only replaceable with the cover (at this time...it will probably change as GM replaces more of them
)
The Body mounts (six on each side) run along the side of the vehicle.
