I've never checked my H3, but isn't the VIN also stamped into the side of the frame? (usually right below the front doors) It was on my previous vehicles...

Yes, but at least people can't see it when the door is closed.

Actually, it is in about ten locations throughout the vehicle, part of the Federal law to help prevent car thefts.

Mine will be easy to spot if stolen.. It's got the "Opra" Driver side Lean...

So, you're pretty much screwed if someone wants your VIN, business card or not?

I kind of like that last photo myself

Hey question on doing this - when you slid your covering material in there, was there a piece of foam in the way? Did you remove it or bypass it with the material? If the latter, did you go between it and the glass or between it and the dash? I wasn't sure if it had adhesive on either side or not.
