I tried both in Denver's last blizzard and 4hi lock was better - less fishtailing in the corners. But unlocked does great over all the road conditions after the storm between all the dry, wet, slush and ice patches.

I went into 4 hi when i was in denver a few weeks ago too... i figured in 20 inches it was best...

Finally got something to show here in Michigan, lousy winter for playing in the snow. Looked like the makings of a blizzard for a little bit, then it dried up....still waiting to bust out my skis. We're doing 2 days at Breckenridge on the way home from Moab in April, may be my only chance.

Hey that is a nice looking rig. Where did you get your roof rack?
I like that style where it sits on back of the roof.
