It looks really awesome. Apple is definitely upping the ante on handheld do-hickies. Did you notice that research in motion's stock went down? If you dig through the apple website you will find that it is only available with cingular, in June. This probably means it will be with cingular exclusively for about 8 months. Most of the talk about the iphone before today discussed that apple will really have to get cozy with one of the wireless companies to pull off a breakthrough into the cell phone market, so cingular probably has apple by the balls a bit. Which means I'll probably be changing my cell phone company soon. Sorry verizon, but your phones do suck. Cingular always gets the best phones first. All in all it might be wise to wait for a second generation one or at least untl we find out if its got any bugs.

I'm not a complete gadget freak but unless the first generation ones start catching fire in people's pockets, I'm betting I'll be getting one. The only thing I see that its missing is corporate email.
