35" Xterrains... Good tires in my opinion.
I haven't decide if or how high I will eventually lift it, so I may get 37s then.

Please tell me you didn't use a CHAIN to pull your rig out?
I've always been under the impression that using a chain for such a recovery is not recommended, a) because it has no give, b) a single weak link in the chain and *snap*, and c) all the dangers of a snapping chain flying at you at 100mph. Yet, I've seen so many people doing it...

Good point. And that's a thin chain at that...
Nothing metal (except a winch line on a winch) should be used for recovery!

It worked didnt it. Sometimes you just use what you've got.
