There are at least three further good reasons for making provision for at least some students to write science poetry. Looks like your son is destined for a white collar career.

As a personal observation and quick calculations in my head, I've found 78% of children who choose to slide head first (as oppose to feet first), tend to migrate towards white collared careers. But this is just an assumption from one picture that your son likes to slide head first 83% of the time.
