Barrett Rifles - Model 82A1/M107
Was watching future weapons on the Mil Channel and OMG they just had this beast on there. A Canadian sniper (yea i know) has a confirmed kill at over 2000 meters!!
It easily takes out targets at 1.5 miles!!

Re: Barrett Rifles - Model 82A1/M107
@ 30 lbs its a little heavy for citizen use. With tipical visibillity in my area. Shots over 200yds are rare. The deer aren't all that big either. But hey for a mere $8,000.00 + tax what a deal. How much is that canadian?

Ha i think it would be for fun plinking and destroying as if you shot a deer with that thing it would blow it in half.

My beautiful, wonderful, fabulous newlywed wife got me a Beretta Tikka T3 - 300 WSM (Lite Stainless, Synthetic Stock) with a Leoupold 4.5 X 14 for Christmas. The rifle immediately (actually 10 shots) started hitting bulls at 100yds. - I couldn't wait to get it out in the field to shoot it at game. I've shot 4 shots - 1 Rio Grand Tom at 110 Yds., 2 w/t doe - 120/130 yds., and 1 w/t spike - 150 yds. I am very impressed with it's accuracy. I'll next be sighting it in for 300yd bullseyes' and hopefully be going to Colorado next season for some Elk or Muleys - http://www.berettausa.com/product/pr...ifles_main.htm
