Let's wait and see. I do believe GM has learned their lesson on converting gas engines to diesels.
From the little I have been told this new line of diesels will be as good as the duramax line. GM can make a good engine, look at the LS series, the truck V8s, so, with the right amount of money and talent, they can make a good diesel.
