Running Off road tires without swapping TPM sensors?

So I guess until the system is set to do what its supposed to we wont if the sensors are working right. Of course that involves a dealership trip which none of us enjoy. The other thing is from what I have read in the manual that it should come on upon starting the vehicle and you can turn it off pushing the toggle pole in and it shouldn't appear again until the vehicle is shut off and started again. who knows anymore?
