Re: 2008 H3 SUV
Main differences between what is called side air bags versus roll over air bags:
Side impact curtains stay inflated for only a second or two, while rollover curtains stay inflated for around 10-20 seconds depending on the type used.
True rollover curtains only have a rollover sensor. However, a side/rollover system has a rollover sensor, as well as side impact sensors.
On the H3, the rollover sensors is under the console, while the side impact sensors are in each front door.
As for prices, I have no idea.

Re: 2008 H3 SUV
Some new features comming is any H3 built after Feb. 1st will have rear child locks and new switch positions on ( I believe) all doors. 2008 will also have roof rail aibags standard. There will be 3 new colors as well as several colors going away. As far as pricing goes, we don't normally know for a few weeks after we start building new models

Re: 2008 H3 SUV
Defintly go with the curtain airbags, I mean for $450 your sooo much safer, way i saw it was Id rather spend the 450 and and hopefully never have to use them, than not to get them and god forbid have to use them, so thats defintly an option would recommend, as for what H3 Builder those are the changes we know of so far, also im not sure about this but i heard that the window buttons will be in a more convienient loaction.

Re: 2008 H3 SUV
I'd wait and risk the lower value when I sell my Xterra if there was a desert tan/brown style color coming out!

Re: 2008 H3 SUV
ZGXtreme that would be awsome if Hummer did come out with that, but they had a Desert Sand color on the H2 and took it away so it makes me wonder if they would make it for the H3 at all.

Wait for the 2008 and maybe you can get the V 8 in it.

Re: 2008 H3 SUV
It's interesting you mention the V8; I was in the dealer on Friday and they told me that the V8 option will be FIFO in a way with a list of people desiring that option! I spoke to my GM friend this weekend at a cigar tasting event and he said that there will be a higher amount of V8 H3's built as the production cycle gets hot! So while the first statement is true, it won't be difficult to get one as the 2008 model year progresses. Hopefully I explained that correctly!
By the way, it was a Cusano event at the Outlaw Cigar Company in Kansas City!
