A lot of the hate is stemming from the movie "Who killed the electric car?"
Now really, if we all started driving electric cars tomorrow, wouldn't they bitch about the thousands of electric plants we'd need to build to "fuel" them?
What would they think of the mountains of toxic Nimh batteries in a few years? Who'd be stuck paying for the recycling?
