Default A Hummer at Talladega?

Well I'm finally posting pics of my 03 H2. Yesterday I got the chance to drive 7 laps on Talladega Super Speedway. Of course I decided to bring the Hummer.... When I got there I was told that it was the first Hummer that they know of that was ever driven the track. All I can say is Wow!!! On the first turn (first lap) we were only doing 30-40 and the further we went on the turn the more I began to Shat myself. I couldn't believe that I didn't roll over. I had no idea the turns were that steep. After that, I decided to put the pedal to the metal. Unfortunately, I didn't get it on the still camera, but on the video we passed a Firebird WS6 on the outside of turn 4 doing 100 mph. It was one fun day at the track!

I also threw in a few pics of the outside and inside of the truck. It is nothing too exciting. It is a 2003 with Mazzi 17x8 wheels, SMA roof rack, 06 dash panels, 05 brake lights, 04 Nav, 3 TVs, and a JL 13" sub.

The lisence plate kills me... LOL.

I just did a track day with my streetbike at Daytona a few months ago. Going around the banking at about 180mph... you are literally leaned over horizontally.

dochummer,
The SMA roof rack is actually for a H2 SUT not a SUV (Shhhhh?..). I saw it on EBay and then measured the rack. It ended up being about 2 inches longer than the standard SUV rack. I bought it and then turned it around so I would have some better lights in the back. I am not sure what PIAA model they are. To be completely honest I have not hooked them up yet. My honey do list has been longer than I expected (isn't it always....). Hopefully I will have them hooked up within a week or 2. I can?t wait because then I will have my F&@# you lights for tailgaters and Hummer haters!

hummer74,
I got them on EBay. Like everything else . I am an addict. My wife is going to kill me and cut me up into pieces one day if I don't stop. Oh well.... I ended up paying around 142 for the 4 peice set. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=320078362089. All I can say is LUCKY! It was very easy to install and it looks so much better. I have taken the parts off many times before when I took out my onstar and put in the in dash monitor in it's place. My buddy works for a big car manufacturer here in Birmingham and runs their painting. I am trying to get him to paint my old ones so I can sell them.
