Does anybody know if the XM module in a 2007 H3 is mounted in the same location behind the glove compartment? Thanks,

Just an update, the XM module on an 07 H3 is under the radio unit and climate controls. I'll let you all know how the install is for that.

UPDATE: The XM Module for the 2007 H3 is located above the glove box. You can get to it by removing the center instrument panel (surrounds the radio/CD, climate controls, vents, 4x4 controls) and reaching down to right above the glove box. You cannot get to it just by removing the glove box. Sorry guys/gals, I have no pics.

Just got this installed. Works well, a bit tough to get used to the navigation controls. My version was 5.02 which I think is an older version, and I got it from LogJam, so whatever, it works really well. For now, I ran the cord from the unit out of one of the blank switch holders in the center console - I really don't like it much because it's bright white and is a bit obnoxious. Eventually I'll just route it back to the armrest box and just store the ipod in there while using it (completely out of sight).

Also got my cheapo headrest DVD system installed (just a wally world special), but now I can run the ipod through the car stereo and watch movies (aka porn) on the head rest monitors. Had to get some work done before the rain starts again
