Default Re: Hummer Withdrawl

Having had a 2006 H3 for 6 weeks and 3000 miles, I can shed some light on your decisions.

1. The H3 is smaller. Much smaller.
2. The H3 is underpowered. (H3 owners: don't argue, you know I'm right) It is difficult to pass at 70 mph.
3. The H3 is, in my opinion, as good offroad as a H2.
4. There are a lot more H3s out there than H2s. How will you feel when the 16 year old girl next to you is driving the same truck?

Having purchased a used 2006 H2 after the sinking of the Titanic (the H3), I can tell you that getting one used is the way to go. I got mine with 11K miles for $40K. Add $2500ish for a extended warranty and you have a hellova a deal with very little depreciation.

To get one for the low $40Ks, you have to be fast, though.

Also, if you have problem in your area, expand your search to other large cities like Dallas (where I am). Many used car dealers can easily transport the H2 to you for a very reasonable price.

Getting a nearly new H2 is pretty safe in my opinion. Add the extended warranty and I think you have a winner.

Good Luck!
