No, not talking about instant drop, and not attributing much to the V8 intro. Just saying by the end of year $10-15K drop from original purchase price on 2006 models. This is actually close to a normal rate of depreciation for a vehicle that will be about 2 1/2 years old by then. Nothing alarming here at all.

Understood. Yeah thats too be expected. I have heard that else where, and it sounded like people were meaning that come September you value will drop $15K as soon as the Alpha is on the lots. A bit discouraging, but I plan on driving mine into the ground, so no bother.
Just to clarify my rant about being over it was directed toward the original poster suckin us into the thread in the headline and then giving no info whatsoever.

Re: H3 ALPHA PRICING
I dont see why not. The brushguard is mounted to the front tow hooks, and I dont think they changed those demensions, and as well crossbars should be the same as well. Maybe F5 could verify that, but I didnt see anything in the specs that stated changes to body size or dimensions.

I'm hoping that's the case! I'd remove everything that's not welded on & reapply it to the new H3 (UCP, brushguard, winch, spring skids, roof rack, rock rails) I tow a lot, would love to be able to pull more, and more easily. I for one will probably wait 'till spring/summer '08 to trade, at around 3 yrs old.

I have heard that the front and rear bumpers have different brackets. So I don't know if the brush guards will attach to the knew ones.
