Who uses CD's anymore? I don't even understand why aftermarket stereos even come with cd players anymore. Everyone I know uses ipods for music. CD and DVD is great for backing up music, but thats about it.

Well given the H2 comes with an IPOD plug-in, I can see why they wouldn't have a CD player. Maybe in 2008.

I could see if you made the statement about casettes but it is a little early to be pushing CD's the way of the 8-track. CD sales a definitely declining but still a few of us hanging out here with the plastic. Even have some vinyl hanging around the house.

Sorry to disappoint you but still a few cavemen hanging around out here. Maybe I should look into buying one of those Ipod thingies so I won't be so inadequate. Does a Walkman count?

I use tons of CD's. I still haven't gotten around to buying an iPod.

A hummer tech told me you will be able to get H1's through AM General, but only with the military style interior. He also said they re-designed the hood and cooling systems and added a bilge pump system instead of having to use the plugs to sink them when fording deep water. I dont know if this is ture or not, but he definatley knows what he is talking about when it comes to all Hummers and I doublt he would make all of that up. Suposedly the sent him up to south bend recently and thats where he learned of all this.

I would imagine quite a few still use CDs, or at least everyone I know. Of course I could ask why use an Mp3 or Ipod when you can get a hard drive in the radio head.
I have an MP3 for the gym, but I'm satisified with CDs or my Pioneer's internal hard drive.

I'd rather just have it be able to play mp3 cd's.....then I don't have to go out and buy an ipod....

I like CDs because they don't have to be restored all the time! (Damn ipods!)
