I have begun to install the acoustic dampening material. The foam-like pipe insulation has gone in very easily so far, and fills the spaces in the doors/pillars nicely.

Here is the foam in the passengers side, up around the roof. Looks sort of like what was in there!


This is in the b-pillar:


For the smaller areas, instead of HUSHMat or something else thin and expensive, I opted for:


I will be amazed if it works, but if I think the foam works, I can't see why this wouldn't. I found it at walmart, and it's about $0.50/SQ Foot! But if anyone ever tears this truck apart, they're going to be in for a colorful surprise!
