Oh, that's brilliant!! There are times when I use all of 3 in the front and one or 2 in the back.

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
I agree the new interior looks like everything else GM makes, Tahoe, Silverado. No more uniqueness on the inside. Obviously they are sharing parts among all the trucks to save $. I do like the new power train. Can't stand the silver bumpers. I bet most will have them painted the day they drive the '08 off the lot. Making me want to keep my '06. Especially if yellow is not offered.

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
the front looks ok, the silver/pewter bumper is not bad either, however, it might clash a bit on the black one's.
The interior, well, i ahve said it before and basically, its not a hummer interior anymore... its looks like another GM product. They said that they took peoples opinions for the redesign... im wondering if those people where folks like us or the design team for every other chevy interior program?
The engine and trans is refreshing... however, i would like to see how well that trans will hold up. If should a little better than the 60e/65e, but six foward gears and 403hp with cylinder drop off is great!! She should come with a winch upgrade from factory!!
overall, she is still a hummer. She has lost also some figure in approach/departure/breakover angles, not sure if those figures are legit. She doesn't seem to have changed alot in the exterior so it may be the same.

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
393 hp @ 5700 rpm ??? How can GM justify almost 70 more hp with just .2 extra liters on the v-8. Something in that equation doesn't add up...

The new motor uses the L-92 heads which flow a crazy amount compared to the old LS-style heads. Lots more flow from the top-end...

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
If you look at the pics on the site you'll see that only the first group is of pre 2008's. All the pictures past the interior pics are of the '08. Also, everything I've heard is that the 08' heads compared to the pre 08's would make no noticible power difference. How else might they have tuned it? I do like the idea of a 5 sp tranny though...

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
I guess I'm the only one than!
To me, the new interior looks waaaaayyyyy better. The materials look to be improved if they are anything like the new Tahoe's.
I cannot wait for them to be released. If the price doesn;t get jacked to 70K for a Lux series, I may have onther one.
