Re: JET or PCM for less???? Need direction.
Good info ETD! Now that's what I'm talking about! Real feedback from Real experience. Sorry about the relearn process, one of my concerns too. Glad to hear it's not all tea and roses as some here would read having no issues as false and impossible.
Actually some issues with the learn process of the pcm. Good stuff. Thank you EDT!
Please post back after a tank or two. Let us know on the performace and mileage. Thank you.

Easy there. Been out of town. Had the truck in the shop for level and lock.
So far... there has been a VERY noticeable difference in acceleration. This is not surprising given the stock's inertia. Whether the programming is worth $289 for those in the know I can't say. Me? I would not want to spend time to get the doohickey that will allow me to "do it myself". To me getting my desktop or laptop worked on would be about the same price. Basically, if this increased in performance proves itself on the road to MOAB this Summer, it would have been worth it for moi. Otherwise, I might just be self-fulfilling my wish now .
Can't say about MPG at this time.

Re: JET or PCM for less???? Need direction.
Well I lived in Charlotte up until 4 weeks ago so I bought a tune from them and was able to drive over to there place have them flash the PCM. I then pulled an enclosed trailer weighing in at 3000 lbs running 70-80 mph on interstate got 13.8 to 15.1. 1 round trip of back and forth to work normal milage was 18.7 it bumped up to 19.6. Moved to the Orlando area ard I'm in 20 miles of stop and going and getting 16 mpg. Pickup is noticably quicker shift point changed to handle the trailer better and a stiffer shift as well. So far i'm very happy with it.
