Default Re: H3 T Codenamed GMT745,

GMT 745 is/was the code for the H3, can't/won't say if it carried over to the H3t. I will say they are some what less than acurate on their dimensions.

2009 HUMMER H3T Spied!

Codenamed GMT745, the long-anticipated Hummer H3T was spotted over the weekend, sporting a crew-cab configuration. Although the original concept was a short-bed pickup with just two doors ? economic decisions made the four-door H3 variant much more affordable to produce.
The short-bed, which can almost be described as ?cute? ? will offer a cargo area of roughly 4-feet wide by 4?-feet long. A hard tonneau cover will be available as an option, as will several choices of lockable cargo boxes.

The H3T?s optional cargo boxes are expected to include a small lunchbox/toolbox with the ability to easily lift-off and take to your worksite. Other boxes are likely to include cargo boxes that the whole length of the bed, as well as one which will run the width.
Engine options will include the new 295-horsepowerV8 as first shown in the H3 Alpha, as well a 242-horsepower 3.7-liter I5 powerplant.
The Shreveport-built H3T will start production in August of 2008, and arrive in the third or forth quarter of 2008, as a 2009 model. Hummer plans to build about 35,000 units annually.

You know in that last picture, it almost looks like the driver's side rear is a dually. Can you imagine a dually H3T w/the 6.2L V8? OMG, we gotta get hummer to do that!!

You can just have h2o build you a ladder rack for the bed extending over the cab, then put the spare up on the ladder rack. You'd have plenty of room in the leftover spare space to put in a compressor and 2.5 gal air tank + maybe even an optima yellow-top to run all your accessories!!

Honestly, if this is what it looks like, I think it will look funny. Too much like a 4 dr explorer sport-trak for my tastes

Been busy as hell on the other truck you saw in the dome. Those dam Europian ped pro laws are giving us fits, you'd think that after gittin' wacked by a 4000# truck, how big a dent your mellon leaves in the hood would be the least of your worrys. Also looks like an unchanged version of your favorite truck from the dome show may be public some time soon.
