So I was 7 out of 8 picking the winners, and the one I got wrong was my Pens who I had to root for. 3 for 8 picking the number of games and winners. Not bad. I will make predictions for the next round later today. Anybody else care to take a swing at it.

Let's see:
SJ over Det
Vancouver over Anaheim
NY over Buff
Ottowa over New Jouwzee
All in 5 except Vancouver, that one may go in 4.
I reserve the right to make changes until the beginning of the first game.
BTW, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about so don't take any of it serious.

Ok here's my bid
Buffalo over Rangers in 7 (this should be a great series)
NJ over Ottawa in 6
San Jose over Detroit in 6 ( I love this matchup, I hope it goes to 7)
Anahiem over Van foreigners in 6 (Sorry, Dennis but giving you 6 is being generous) How are you going to get past Pronger and Neidemeyer when you where shutdown 3 games by Dallas?

X2 If they play like in games 4 and 5 vs Dallas, the Ducks are going to clean house.
BUT......
Discipline always wins. And the Ducks are cavemen. 
I'm just happy we made it past the first round.
My prediction is:
Detroit
Buffalo
Ottawa
And.....Aw hell, Vancouver will advance.

Pronger and Neidemeyer can be stopped and remember, they choked last year in round two (though they didn't have pronger). If I was a betting man I'd call Ducks in 5, but if Luongo plays like he did last night - anything could happen. |
