CB Antenna Noise (Wind)

I don't have any suggestions, but is it me or is the passenger side antenna angled outward just a little bit??

Might just be the picture, it's nice setup either way (even with the rabbit ear look )

I just have one Firestik on top of my roof rack with the regular spring.
I haven't had any noise, all is good.

I have a Wilson 1000 on my hummer its a magnet mount and I don't have any noise. At actually has a small amount of db gain. At the time it was the only one on the market with the db gain, might be different now. Its stainless steel with a 3-4 inch base. The load and ant. can be unscrewed if need be and can handle up to 500 watts if you get a linear (amp) for your CB.

I have a 2' firestik mounted right above the DS window. I get a lot of wind noise, to the point that if I'm not using it, I'll either fold down or remove the antenna when not on the trail. Or crank up the tunes.

Thanks guys and gals. I'm going to order a Hustler whip today and see if that cures the problem. If so, I'll order another one, if not ????

the air channeling down must be tough? no experience here but I had a H1 customer go off the bumper with big whips he did cb, short wave and outterspace from his rig.
