Re: H 3 LOGOS ON DOORS
Hey neo does that paint come in a gun barrel grey color do you know ?and will it hold up in time or will it have to be retouched up in time i really dont wont to ever have to retouch it up again. like the wheels its not to hard to touch up the wheels. but i dont want to retape every thing twice later to touch up the logos.

Re: H 3 LOGOS ON DOORS
I used the 'hammered' textured paint, just masked off the door, scratched up the emblem w/some scotchbright pads and painted about 3 coats. That was last summer and it still looks great (note, I did the same on my grill and have all kinds of little shiny spots where rocks have hit the grill and the chrome shines through )

Re: H 3 LOGOS ON DOORS
hey SHY , i think they have it in colors , just not sure whats available . i have had to touch mine up and i have to be careful when washing it . if you remove them and prep them really good they should hold up better , i couldant get the edges scuffed very good on mine and thats why i have a little peeling at the top edge .

Re: H 3 LOGOS ON DOORS
So I guess it safe to say if I leave them on and paint them in time the edges could peel ? Or if I take them off I can really do a better job ?maybe take them up the linx palce. do you think it might be to thick or to heavy with linex ? also i am going to power coat my wheels soon so being my H 3 is black and black wont show up so I am thinking the graphite in the www.duplicolor.com would look good. any other color on black that will show up and look good besides graphite ?
