Congrats on the new rig!

I saw a black Unlimited Rubicon at the hardware store on saturday, and the guy had a real nice setup ... hardtop, 6 spd manual, dark window tint, iPod adapter. It's cool you have both in the stable

Default Re: Bought a JK

So now have a couple hundred miles on the JK. ..First impression is that it's a Jeep, rides more harsh than the H3, interior is more hollow (plasticky), seats aren't nearly as comfortable, but the driving position is more comfortable (higher in the cab, more upright), interior has more room, seems to be 'tighter' than the H3 (but there's 35k miles difference between the two), haven't rodded it yet (<500 miles).

But I will say it's more fun to drive. It's more open inside (more room all around), you have more fun. If I was going on a short drive (like to work, 5 miles) I'd choose the Jeep, on a longer trip I'd choose the H3 - I'd be hating life after 10 hrs in the Jeep. They are both great rigs, both have their good & bad points.

Can't say anything off pavement yet. It's gonne take awhile to convince the wifey to let me beat it up. Maybe later this summer...
