Only 70? I keep forgetting that the VIN sequence numbers include the Colorado/Canyon. Would seeing an alpha out here in the South West have anything to do with hot weather testing at the GM proving ground? 'Cause it sure is a good time for it!

Heat related yes, but for most heat related testing they can be performed at the DPV. The DPV does give a good location to jump off from for other testing such as Hoover Dam, Moab, Rubicon, etc.
