Re: solar flare metallic
New HUMMER color coming out in 2008. Just curious if anyone has seen it or knows anything about it before I order a few.

Re: solar flare metallic
Go to the link in the 2008 Hummer H2 sticky thread. There's a bunch of pics of that color on the H2 and H3.
Here's the H2.

Re: solar flare metallic
Sunset Orange wasn't such a popular color. I wonder if this will do any better.
Thanks Sewie.

I saw that pic too, but was speaking with a GM product trainer who has seen it in person on H3 and he says its nothing like that. when he saw the photo he said its no way that thats the same solar flare he saw. Its more of a metallic flaked off-white beigey-gold kindacolor, if that makes any sense.

Traininer is not correct. The color depicted in the photo is pretty accurate when the vehicle is in sunlight. It is an orange with a lot of red versus brown that the desert orange had. As the sun/shade hits it, the red shows to come out a bit more.

Re: solar flare metallic
I can guarantee, this is solar flare metallic. Taken with a cell phone camera..so color is ok, not as great as professional. The metallic does not show through very well in this photo, as it does when standing next to the vehicle in sunlight.
