black definately!! and yea if I had an employee mourn a pet loss and miss work, there would be an issue. And you should thank your lucky stars that your not an employer in CA, because the guy would sue you so fast it would make your head spin. He's probably jacking you anyway, and at a 4th of July BBQ

That's not even good living in Mississippi. I made about that while in nursing school, and I felt as though I was going to starve. That is def not alot of money...esp as a salary

My pets are under strict orders to only die when it is my day off. He could have at least put the dog in the freezer until the weekend.

Im sorry ut ive only had my dog for a year and half and if osmething happened to her id be devisted, dog or human if it lives in your house its part of your family. But if your policy says no dogs then, i dont know what i would do in that guys case.
