With A 94 MY hummer, I believe they were all non turbo with A mechanical pump? For cold starting you can also put the throttle pedal to the floor and it will help in starting. Make sure all glow plugs are good, should have A 15A draw on each plug. Test 4 at A time and go from there, each bank should have appox 60A draw. On A mechanical pump you also need to make sure the cold advance works, consult A service manual for that one as I have not even seen one for A few years.
