I'm assuming you're speaking of the Nickel plant (not zinc). This plant has been around for 100 years. Toyota purchases anywhere from 1% to 6%of the materials sourced from this plant. Hummers are not exempt for the impacts of this plant as Nickel is required for the manufacture of stainless steel. Hummers required more steel and have been around a lot longer so anyone who purchases these goods made from stainless steel have to own some of this responsibility as well.

Someone mentioned the disposal of the batteries in the Prius and these are recycled. Toyota offers a premium for compliance of this.

I joined this site to have a conversation about a misconception of the Hummer. It seems you guys just don't want to take accountability for your actions and confront the impacts of your purchases so you immediately ban me (still trying to figure out for what as I've conducted myself in a very reasonable manner). I'm sure the information contained in my first paragraph will get me banned again. So, carry on and promote your disinformation campaign in an effort to ease your conscience.

Ok, I feel better now. -But seriously zoe, what is your beef? (Or should I say "What is your tofu?") We love Hummers, you love hybrids. Lets all get along, and not pollute each others forums.

BTW: You were apparantly banned for using a forged IP address.

LOOK... GIVE US your references, not he said / she said ...
you are the one coming to us saying this and that, you are challanging us but cannot reference sources that can be verified...

When I argue before those 9 men and women in Washington, a case, I just can't go in and say " bull chit" and "just believe me"
They would put me into the slammer with some of my clients...

My GOD man if you have had some High School Debate or English and/or college science/math you have to defend your words with proof

Now if you never took High School English or Debate or college science courses at least bull **** better then what you have shown here...My CAT, Gaylord Focker could present a better arguement then you have shown...
