Question Back pass side window lock not working

For some reason I just noticed the PS back window goes down when locked ?.
We were on a road trip with the dog in the back and He hit the window switch with his paw so we locked them.
Then he hits the rear PS window and it goes down ?,The other 2 are disabled.
I just called my stereo/auto start installer and asked if he could have possibly did something,He said It definatly couldnt be from install.

I will bring it to the dealer when I get a chance ,Maybe in august when inspections due.

Anyone have a simular problem ?
Could the installer F'ed it up ?

The dog is smart and he likes putting down the window,I caught him red handed

mine is working.

the answer from your installer that it definately couldnt be from teh install is BS. im not saing it is, but "definately" sounds BS. there are plenty of things he could have done while under the dash.

the lock button is connected to what looks to be a dark blue wire which goes to every single door. i think they travel under the dash in some harness to the other side.

looking at the wiring, if the wire is cut, then the window wouldnt operate at all, because that wire is supplying the power for the the switch.

hmmm... interesting. can you 100% confirm that all the otehr windows work (from their own door switch) and that this one does as well. and confirm that they all lock except this one.

confirmed and certified

I had the truck 2 years I never used them ?
I had GPS ect installed 4 months after purchase.

Are there 3 seperate wires comming off the lock switch ?
Maybe I have a bad switch?

Thanks for input, i'll look under dash and maybe right side panel for that wire this weekend.

alright now that its confirmed and certified its still weird. go here http://hummeranswers.com/ and click on either front or back window wiring link towards bottom of page so you can see what im looking at.

it looks like when you press the lock switch that cuts the + that goes to center pole on the switches in each door. the motor is not directly operated by switch. switch goes to relay and then relay to motor.

So by the looks of it if it, the window will work when the dark blue wire has + going to the switch, but somehow its not stoping when the lock button is pressed.

Here is the weird part, all 3 windows are on the same lock switch, and 2 work but 1 doesnt. Something along the way is wrong but i cant put my finger on it. Nothing is cut or loose, since it has power, but something else is wrong.

I dont know exactly how the lock switch works, but if the 3 wires go in and make contact separately, maybe that one going to the window in question is sticking and not disconecting. have you ever spilled something sticky like juice or soda over the drivers switches in the past? that may be it if the switch works as i hope.

hope what i said makes the slightest sense.
