Thanks all... H3Man... I paid $249 with free shipping from a seller on ebay. To tell you the truth... I think the claimed HP & better gas mileage claims come mainly from the fact that the engine breathes better... Not so much because of the cooler intake charge. The Volant is not a true sealed box either. It has a funnel type hole in the bottom of the air box and the instructions say "add accessory"... I think that you can add a bottom scoop to get additional cold air. But if you don't buy the add-on item... You just have a hole in the bottom of the air box. I would imagine that it's just pulling in hotter air from the engine bay.

All in all... I like the bling factor and I like the throaty sound of the throttle. I have always put K&N filters on my vehicles. The Volant is very similar... Gauze fabric with their "special" oil on it. Volant's is dyed blue instead of red like K&N.

I'll post every now and then as to the gas mileage after a few tanks of gas.
