Well technically the X5 is American. It's made in South Carolina.

Put a six inch lift, 37's, and a gobi rack on that thing and we'll talk....

Re: out with the old in with the new
I had a 04 x5 that I traded in when I got the hummer, and now got rid of the hummer for the new x5.
the x5 is my wifes, I have a 335 as posted in a thread on here somewhere.
don't get me wrong I liked the hummer but for a 65k truck it was lacking.
I dont see the quality that it should have.
of course it eats to much gas but that was expected, the aerodynamics are nill. the wind noise is extreme.
It was comfy and the complements were nice.
When the diseil comes out there just may be another one in my driveway.
if it tows a considerable amount and gets better mph.

not really sure where the aerodynamics and wind noise play a roll in this
sounds like you bought rollerskates to go ice-skating

I think you will be banished for saying that cause its made with all foreign parts so now go play somewhere else-maybe in heavy traffic.
