they say:
needs tank
needs all new injecters

am I safe to just have them flush out and put fresh gas in with some injecter cleaner and be on my way?

They claim the injecters are in danger of contamination.

I have a meeting set with the owner of the gas station tonight. I am going to have him pay for this or take him to court.
Here in Canada where people don't whine if we find water we make Coffee we find blue tint we dye our clothes and we keep on going remembering that 80 % of our secondary roads are like off roading anyway

Talking Re: found deisel water and gas in my tank

I'm sorry, but if anyone has this happen, get a 6 foot line of hose, 5 gallons of gas and some sea foam. So all of you now I am not preaching, I stole gas from my to-be father in law and put 20 gallons of diesel in a 1974 corvette with a 454. I got about 1/2 mile from the farm when all hell broke loose. My soon to be brother in law helped me siphon out the diesel and got the gas and sea foam in. Granted, when getting on it, it smoked pretty heavy but after a couple of weeks, it run great. For you old guys, I paid $5,486.00 for the brand new sting ray in 1974. It seems that $2500 is stealing and they probably used the same method........Oh well, it is only money and I'm glad your off and running.

The deisel isn't what caused the problem - don't get me wrong - I GOT SHAFTED ON THE $2500 - it's okay to get diesel in a gas engine - BUT NEVER - EVER - get gas in a deisel engine, you'll be sending some pistons for a ride......

HUM GOOD,

Sounds like you did a great job of documenting what happened. No advice on that. I know I know hard to believe but, anyway good job.

The only thing I would suggest is that the amount you are owed should fall under most small claims courts. Talk with them if they resist go done and file. Do not let court send it certified, ask if you can have a process server do it. If court will allow you to use a process server to do it and most in my experience especially if the server does not have to track them down will charge anywhere from $30 to $50. It scares the crap out of many that are not experienced with small claims they are shocked and just settle.

If you do go to court just represent yourself using all facts but, even if you get judgement it will be up to you to collect. That is when you will need a lawyer to attache a lean to the building or something.

Sometimes even on the court door steps they will walk up and pay or rather their ins. may pay. My guess to hold ins. premium down they will pay if it is right up to court time.

If it weren't for the USA, we'd be royally screwed, so go shove your fake Canadian pride. If you really loved Canada, you'd have enough sense to respect our neighbors to the south.

So quit the damn nonsense, you'd be the first to cry to the USA if we ever needed help.
