1/8" seems a litte thick. Couldn't you use thinner material but frame in the inside with some small tubing?
I don't understand the utility of a slant back, but it definitely makes in unique.

As for the material, I want it to be made out of thick sturdy material. I plan on putting subwoofers in the back end, and I do not want my slantack to rattle, and resonate. Also, there is an aluminum frame inside the top for even more strength!
My goal is to make them extremly high quality..... Worthy of riding on the back of an H2!!!!
