What year H2 do you have with ATF & antifreeze mixing in radiator?

It's only a matter of time. Every GM truck I have had has the lines break in the plastic tanks and will fuk your day up.

That's why when I installed the supercharger, the first thing I ordered was an aluminum radiator.

Hey OC, I was chatting with a guy from Ron Davis Radiator today anc he had a couple of things to note. One was that he said all of the radiators he had with internal tranny cooler failures were with Magnuson SCs on them - specifically this brand SC only. The other thing he said, was that most aftermarket radiator companies still use the internal GM tranny cooler (AC Delco) in their radiators.

I just purchased a custom H2 Ron Davis Radiator and it showed up Friday bent! Then on top of that, they said I had to work it out with UPS as it was shipped perfect and they have pics of it. Worse case, I file claim with my credit card company

I just picked up my H2 last week from the dealership after this happened to me and my wife. We were 150 km outside of the city on our way camping and suddenly the engine surged, redlined, and the transmission temperature warning came up on the instrument cluster. I called roadside assistance and they informed me that they would only cover $100 of a tow, or approximately 50 km, leaving me to cover the remaining 100 km. If I drove another 50 km in the opposite direction, away from home, I would then be covered under the trip interruption coverage, and they would provide money for meals, hotels, and a replacement vehicle. I was not sure what was wrong though, and I just wanted to get home after putzing under the hood on the side of the highway for 30 minutes, so we limpted it home in second gear. What a pain in the arse. At least the dealership got it in fast and replaced everything. It works well, but I would agree with the others here that a bypass would be the best solution.
