Well, I'm not sure if she'll go to Moab or the Rubi right off the bat, (even tho she's been to both) but she's always out in the Mtns and desert. I bet she'll just tell me that she'd rather take mine and dent it instead.

I was thinking more like the Paris to Dakar or maybe we should start with Baja? In yours of course.

My 08 stickered just a tad over $66K, its an SUV Lux with everything but the air suspension. Dealer gave me off about $3500 if I recall correctly.

Re: 2008 pricing
Thanks Mike She lives in an area where the nearest dealership is 3 hours away and the next closest is 4 hours, so it isn't easy to run in and check on prices.

Re: 2008 pricing
55K is a good deal. What's important is that she will be getting the upgraded motor/powertrain setup. It should be more efficient and powerful.
good luck!

Re: 2008 pricing
I would say that 55k is a heck of a deal for the 08. That is more like what i have seen on 07's that they are trying to move.

Re: 2008 pricing
I would also say that 55K is a great deal...... Hell a loaded up 07 Lux around here used is going for 50K+ all day, 06's are mid 40's (really low mile ones are upper 40's)
