Re: 2008 pricing
55K is a good deal. What's important is that she will be getting the upgraded motor/powertrain setup. It should be more efficient and powerful.
good luck!

Re: 2008 pricing
I would say that 55k is a heck of a deal for the 08. That is more like what i have seen on 07's that they are trying to move.

Re: 2008 pricing
I would also say that 55K is a great deal...... Hell a loaded up 07 Lux around here used is going for 50K+ all day, 06's are mid 40's (really low mile ones are upper 40's)

Re: 2008 pricing
Sounds like a good deal. The 2008 SUT's are out already as well. The first dealer I went to had a couple of them.
The new engine and trans are great. I haven't gotten through the first tank yet and done any official mileage calculations, but the DIC is reading 15MPG average so far with less than 300 miles on it.
My 2005 I was seeing 12.5MPG with about 9000 miles on it.
Don't know for sure yet, but it looks like the new engine / trans / gearing is helping some with the mileage.
Now what are the Tree Huggers going to complain about?

Re: 2008 pricing
My 08 SUT was $55,555 base. That appears to be standard. I added the Adventure package which was like $1700. However the real surprise was the addendum stickers between the two local dealers - let alone the order price!
Dealer 1 - Dew Hummer in Pinellas Park
Couldn't find a 2008 without 5 to 10k addendum sticker. Avg price of LUX was $68000. $5000 non-refundable cash deposit required to order!
Dealer 2 - Reeves Hummer in Tampa (Talk to Joey)
Stickers with no addendums. H2 SUT LUX with all options in the new orange rust color was $62000. $1000 refundable deposit required to order.
So you can guess where I ordered from (expecting October 1 delivery!!!!)
Havn't been this excited over a vehicle in a while.

What were the addendum stickers for? Mine stickered out at $66K and change but that included the nerf bars and roof cross rails. My dealer went to NJ to pick my 08 up. No deposit, no junk fees, no BS. I am surprised the dealer didnt locate one for you at another dealer.
Congrats on the 08 - you are going to love it!
