I'm in Winnipeg... We should go wheeling in one of the parks around the provincial border some time.
I still haven't run into any H1's in Winnipeg.
Welcome aboard!

Re: New Forum Member
There are 3 or 4 other H1s around town. Mine is currently sitting on the back of a semi-trailer parked in the local Customs Bond lot. ( I had it shipped back from Reno in Bond, so that I didn't have to get a Broker to clear it at the Border, thus saving me about $1000 ). I can't clear it until Monday morning. It'll be the first time I actually get to see it in person. I hope it's as nice looking as the photos.
How long have you had your Hummer ?

I brought mine over a few months ago. I've been cleaning it up and working on it as well as driving it daily to work. (30 minute trip)

Hello and welcome to the exclusive club of H1 ownership. Come to think of it, why are non H1 owners posting in the H1 area of this forum?

Well then they can post in either the H2 or H3 forums, where they belong.

Hey, you snotty f uck! Why don't you climb down off your high horse and shut your arrogant mouth! Not too long ago you had an H2
( http://www.h2fanatic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=723 ) or did you forget already? maybe you need a vacation to jog your memory. There is NO rule that says H2, H3 or H1 owners must only post in their respective forums. You want that kind of crap & politics feel free to PM me for directions on where to go.
Please don't try to lie about it not being you either.

Not too bad at all. Work is only 25kms away and my speed is an average 80KMs. Going home I pop on the hwy(freeway) and drive around 100kms. It's about 30 minutes each way and my stereo drows most fo the road noise.
On a downside my HVAC unit had a leaking core. It's the old style so now I'm working on retro fitting the new style. Bought a used one and waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime I'm glad the rear Aux unit has it's own core since it's getting cold up here now.

Re: New Forum Member
Hey Hemi-Don,
I would pass on the Parnelli Jones if I were you as I haven't had any raves about them from customers who have them. One of our customers bought a set that were out of round and all of the other ones I've seen don't seem to last very long. If you are not planning on modifying the truck right away and will be spending most of your time one the road, I would consider the 37/12.50/16.5 Adventurer Unicures if you want to stick with your 16.5's or move up to a set of 17" Cepeks with 37/12.50/17 Good Year MTR's. Both tires have the aggressive look that your after but wear extremely well on the road. They aren't too bad for the occational off-road trips either! Of course I prefer the 41/14.50/17 IROKS but that's a whole nother thread of mods.....

Thats weird. I had a set of dirt grips and they were the best tires I ever had on my truck. I had 32K on them when I sold my last rig, and those tires still had another 3-4K left in them. I did have a balancing issue on one of the tires, but after moving it around on the rim a bit problem was solved and never returned.

I've heard that they have had alot of quality control problems. I know my local dealership stopped selling them, or recommending them to people. Too bad, there a great all around tire.
